Features and Modules
My Tutor is a fully modular web based system which has three basic user roles: Administrator, Supervisor and Student. The following modules are available based on the user’srole and access privileges:
- Module Management Module enables you to assign modules for a specific user role.
- Organization Management Module enables you to create an organization structure (companies, departments, etc.).
- Course Management Module enables you to manage courses more effectively by adding units to a specific course or by assigning courses to specific units.
- User Management Module enables you to manage the systems users and/or to integrate with MS Windows Active Directory Services.
- Group Management Module enables you to create user groups for the system, add users to the specific groups and assign roles for these users. System access privileges are based on the roles assigned.
- Report Generator Module enables you to view existing reports, create new reports or to export the report to an Excel spreadsheet.
- Chat Management Module enables you to manage and visit existing chat rooms, create or delete a chat room.
- Access Log module enables you to monitor system access and obtain site access details based on employee user name, number, role, sign in time, sign out time, computer IP address, computer name and sign out action.
- i-Video Management Module enables you to add and upload media files of relevant course material in AVI and WMV formats.
- Notification Management Module enables you to view alert notifications and to manage notifications. You can submit notifications to specific users or groups. - Assessment Builder Module enables you to create exam questions. By using Exam Builder you can alsocreate both course and non-course exams. You are able to preview and edit exams that you have build.
